Custom Labradorite Pendant
Labradorite is a member of the feldspar family and is known for its blue flashes of color when the stone is in motion. This flash of blue is called labradorescence.
 
Because labradorite has such amazing color, the blue flashes and gray, it is a fun stone to use in pendants. This new pendant was designed around the center 34.68 carat rose cut labradorite. A custom texturized sterling frame with scattered sapphires holds the center stone in place while the triple bead strands act as a clasp, hooking to the top of the sterling frame. The bead strands are labradorite and sapphire, chosen for their complimentary colors to this wearable piece of art.
 
This convertible piece can be worn with the pendant, as a beaded necklace, and the beads can even be wrapped and worn as a bracelet.
