Rutilated Quartz is a special stone. The golden needle-like inclusions of rutile are present in the growing environment of the quartz, and become part of the stone. This stone is cool for the color of the rutile, but also because the designer chose to add spessartite garnet, set in yellow gold, to help highlight this unique stone.
