Moonstone makes us think of the cloudy blue light showing across the top of the stone. That billowing bluish light is a phenomenon called alduarescence. This pendant displays that cool blue flash, and then some. 
 
The center of the pendant features a 19 x 11.5mm moonstone, that is surrounded by sapphire, natural fancy yellow diamonds, and natural diamonds. The halo of stones, set in white and yellow gold, were chosen to pull all the light out of the moonstone and compliment the overall design of the pendant.
